Firstly and probably most importantly, the weather for the days event was excellent, clear, sunny, and dry. A great turnout from all competitors and quite a few spectators too !! The event was well organised and run and everyone had a reasonably easy time completing the 15 sections that were set to challenge the riders. The days purpose, to create a fun trial for all levels, was easily achieved and we hope to see the event become part of the annual calendar. From me personally, I would like to thank all the people that I met, who made me very welcome, especially the guys up on section 14, where I spent a lot time during the day. A quick mention also to Richard Crackles, from Carnforth and Richard Ellwood from Broughton in Furness, who between them put on a show of excellent skill and control to allow me to grab a few portfolio shots, much appreciated and thanks again guys.
